On top of all this, the program comes free of charge. Saving existing memories from your radios is just as simple. If you want to upload data from one radio to another - even if they are different types - you may do so. You can query different bases, including RepeaterBook and and add them to your radio. The broad strokes of the main window will remain straightforward to navigate. Users will note some differences and changes as they attach different radio systems. At the moment, they cover the most well known companies, as well as some smaller ones. Check out their website for the current status they are always adding more manufacturers. Another benefit is the possibility of interaction with radio databases found on the InternetĬhirp provides support for a number of different radio brands. Not finding much help there so I'm hoping there may be folks around here that can shed some light on my dilemma.Chirp covers a long list of frequencies, as well as different radio types. My understanding is that they have ONE lead engineer dealing with tech issues and I've already left a few colorful voicemails. I must be missing something somewhere, but I can't seem to find any sort of help in the app, online, Midland site, or in the manuals.

I'm not even sure how to set username/password in my builds so I'm rightfully confused. I've created blank databases and loaded my custom builds and pointed the software to those databases but the issue remains. I've tried numerous times to get through this or find a workaround but so far no luck.

If I cancel out 3 times or enter an arbitrary password, it errors out and locks me out of all programmer options, leaving me red in the face. It gives a default username of "sa" and blank password. Then a pop-up window appears as "SQL Connection Login" and needing a username/password. When I open the app, it starts off checking database file, which I have not loaded yet so it errors out. However, I'm banging my head on a brick wall trying to get MRP P25 to cooperate with the dozens of ST-III's I need to update. I just installed the Midland programming package and have had no trouble with MRFP (firmware) or MRA (adjustments). New user here, looking for some help with Midland programming software.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
